Wideband operation 470-700 MHz

Standard whip antennas are tuned into relatively narrow bands and users need to change the antenna according to the actual working bandwidth of their wireless system to achieve good reception. The BOWTIE antenna structure provides a working bandwidth of 470-700 MHz, so you can always be sure your antenna is receiving as many signals as possible and can take care of other things when shooting.

Inbuilt 700 MHz low pass filter

Today's RF spectrum is full of signals that can cause intermodulation and decrease the range of your wireless system. These signals can be LTE—high-speed mobile internet (which now starts to occupy spectrum above 700 MHz), 3G, GSM, Bluetooth, and WiFi, to name a few. The BOWTIE has an inbuilt 700 MHz low-pass filter that can effectively remove these signals before the first active parts in the receiver.

Unique antenna holder (included)

A very important aspect of the antenna is its ability to be mounted on a sound bag. The Betso antenna holder allows an antenna to be mounted on the side of a sound bag. It's designed to be compatible with all bags on the market and works especially well with sound bags with solid frames, like Orca or K-Tek. The antenna holder is fully adjustable, foldable, and rock solid. It also includes a 1/4“ to 3/8“ thread adapter.

Top build quality

The lightened antenna structure is made of glass-reinforced epoxy laminate covered by scratch-resistant structured paint. Precise sealing of all mechanical parts ensures great dust and water-resistant performance (IP65 rating).
