Switchable SDI and HDMI Inputs
The DeckLink Mini Recorder has two video inputs: 6G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 which is switchable. The switchable video formats are automatically detected by the inputs and switched. There are 8 channels embedded in audio inputs and 16 channels embedded in SDI audio inputs in SD, HD, and Ultra HD.
Wide Software Support
There is firmware built into the software driver and the recorder supports internal software upgrade loaded at system start. The wide software support includes Media Express, Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility, LiveKey, Disk Speed Test on OS and Windows; whereas Blackmagic Driver, Media Express and Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility on Linux.
Hardware and Software Processing
The mini recorder features hardware-based real-time colour space conversion and HD to SD software-based down conversion during video capture. This HD to SD conversion is selectable between 4:3 pillar-box and 16:9 anamorphic.
Supports all Operating Systems
