The iStorage diskAshur Pro2 SSD 256-bit is a portable hard drive that takes your data security to a new level. Powered by the real-time AES-XTS 256-bit full disk hardware encryption engine and PIN authentication, it encrypts all data and provides the most reliable data storage and security solution. Be it personal, company or government data, without entering the correct 7-15 digit PIN, you cannot access the data. The Pro2 SSD has dustproof and waterproof exteriors and it is certified to IP56. This hard drive features a dedicated hardware-based secure microprocessor that comes with built-in safety mechanism to protect it against bypass attacks and external tampering. Powered with a superfast USB 3.1, it gives you 361 MB/s (read) and 358 MB/s (write) speeds, letting you transfer your files faster. It is platform/device independent and works on all operating systems.

    Drive Reset Feature

    The diskAshur PRO2 SSD allows users to reset the drive and re-deploy it as per their needs. They can use a unique command for resetting the drive that will clear all PINs and data, and they can create a new randomly generated encryption key that can be repeated as many times as required.

    Fool-proof Protection against Brute Force Hacking

    The diskAshur PRO2 SSD 256-bit comes with a tamper-proof design and a secure data encryption that protects your data. It allows you to enter PIN fifteen times with the drive freezing after every five PIN attempts. If it gets an incorrect PIN on the 15th chance, it will delete the encryption key and lock itself, causing all the data to be lost forever. In that case, you will require resetting the portable hard drive to factory default settings and re-deploy.

    What happens if you forget Admin Pin?

    You may enter the User PIN to unlock your drive and access the data. If you have not created the User PIN, then you would require resetting your iStorage diskAshur Pro2 SSD 256-bit hard drive. Resetting the drive causes all the PINs, encryption key, and data to be lost permanently. Before re-using, ensure that you have formatted and partitioned the drive.
