Modular Camera Cage for Camera Protection

Featuring a modular design, the dedicated camera cage for Sony FX3 camera protects the camera from all sides. The open design of the cage allows access to the camera’s ports as well as also allowing you to remove the side plates if required. It is lightweight and has aluminium construction, enabling you to carry it anywhere. The removable NATO rails on all sides of the cage allow you to mount different accessories (and the top handle). You can easily mount the camera or the cage on top of a tripod using the mounting screws at the bottom of the cage. A built-in Arca-Swiss plate on the bottom supports the attachment of DJI Ronin. There are multiple 1/4" and 3/8” threaded holes with ARRI locator pins to support the attachment of anti-twist accessories like mini quick-release plates. The cold shoe mount in the cage features a safety pin arrangement to prevent your accessories from falling out. You can store hex tools in the built-in storage space at the bottom. It comes with an HDMI clamp.

Trigger Handle to Control Camera Recording

The top handle of the cage can be easily mounted using the removable NATO rails. It features a start/stop button to control camera recording and the included LANC port supports the attachment of a wide variety of camera models including Z Cam, Canon, Panasonic, JVC, Blackmagic, and others. It provides multiple accessory mounts, such as five 3/8” threaded holes with ARRI locator pins for anti-twist accessories, two cold shoe mounts, over eighteen 1/4" hole options for accessory mounting, and a 15 mm side rod support for the attachment of EVF or monitors. It can also slide onto both the left and right sides of the cage with the help of NATO rails.

Compatible with Optional Accessories

This cage with trigger handle can be converted into a base rig or an ultimate rig for full cinema setups by incorporating separately available optional accessories, such as a cine cap, rosette adapters, extension arms, ARRI baseplate, quick-release plates, handgrips, etc.
